Goldleaf 23 Ct 85mm Plain loose sheet 25x
This book of 23.75ct gold leaf can be used to create rich, gold detailing on a variety of surfaces.
Each sheet contains genuine gold that has been beaten down to a fine, thin sheet and is supplied loose within the booklet meaning each leaf sits loosely between specially waxed pages, ready to be lifted off when required.
This product is incredibly delicate and therefore must be handled with care using a gilders tip or special brush to avoid erosion.
Suitable for techniques such as; oil gilding, Architec 40 gilding, poliment gilding and reverse glass gilding. It's also suitable for internal moulded, carved and embellished areas and should not tarnish or require sealing.
25 sheets are supplied measuring 80mm x 80mm x 0.125 micron thick.
Each booklet contains approximately 1/2g of fine gold.
To use this product; pick up the sheet carefully with a gilders tip and place onto the area you want to gild. Using the brush to lightly to apply to the area. Then use an Agate Burnisher to smooth the leaf to prevent the foil from sticking.
Please note - this product is not edible. Not suitable to be touched with bare hands.

Gold Foil for Keum Boo 23.5 Ct.
This single sheet of 23.5ct gold leaf is to be specifically used for the Keum Boo technique of fusing pure gold onto silver.
This ancient Korean technique is now being widely used on Silver Clay pieces because of the limited amount of preparation needed.
Keum Boo foil is sturdier and thicker than standard gold leaf and other foils, making it easier to handle and apply to silver work.
This single sheet of 23.5ct Yellow Gold Keum Boo foil measures 3.5" x 3.5" (88.9mm x 88.9mm).
It is 2.5 microns thick, making it approximately 25 times thicker than standard gold leaf.
The gold foil weighs approximately 0.4g.

Goldleaf Transfer.
This book of 23.5ct yellow gold leaf can be used to create rich, gold, detailing on a variety of surfaces.
Each sheet contains genuine 23.5ct yellow gold that has been beaten down to a fine, thin sheet and is supplied pressed onto tissue paper, meaning it can be handled and applied onto the desired surface without any problems.
Suitable for techniques such as; oil gilding, Architec 40 gilding, poliment gilding and reverse glass gilding. It's also suitable for internal moulded, carved and embellished areas as well as exterior work.
25 sheets are supplied measuring 80mm x 80mm x 0.1 micron.
Each booklet contains approximately 0.4g of fine gold.
To use this product; using scissors cut the tissue and foil to the desired size. The transfer gold leaf is then placed onto the surface which has been prepared with adhesive that is still slightly tacky, then apply light pressure to the leaf. Remove the issue paper backing from the foil and brush then polish as required. |

Silver Leaf, 1 Book Of 25 Leaves, 80mm X 80mm, Transfer Leaf.
This book of Silver leaf is perfect for adding silver highlights to decorative surfaces.
Each sheet contains genuine silver that has been beaten down to a fine, thin sheet and is supplied pressed onto tissue paper, meaning it can be handled and applied onto the desired surface without any problems.
Suitable for techniques such as; oil gilding, Architec 40 gilding, poliment gilding and reverse glass gilding. It's also suitable for internal moulded, carved and embellished areas as well as exterior work.
25 sheets are supplied measuring 80mm x 80mm x 0.25 micron.
Each booklet contains approximately 0.5g of silver.
To use this product; using scissors cut the tissue and foil to the desired size. The transfer silver leaf is then placed onto the surface which has been prepared with adhesive that is still slightly tacky, then apply light pressure to the leaf.
Remove the issue paper backing from the foil and brush then polish as required.

Silver Foil.
Fine Silver Foil, For Enamel Work, 100mm X 100mm, Single Loose Leaf
This single sheet of Fine Silver Foil (999) for enamel work can be used to create a shimmering background effect for transparent enamels, or a finishing effect for an opaque enamel base coat.
This single sheet of silver foil measures 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4"), and is approximately 0.1 microns thick. Supplied between two sheets of waxed paper for easier handling and application.
To use, a base coat of either enamel flux (also known as colourless transparent enamel) or your chosen enamel colour should be applied to the piece. The silver foil is then adhered to the pre-fired layer of enamel with the aid of an adhesive or gum, before re-firing at the same firing temperature as the base layer. This causes the foil to adhere to the base layer.
Further layers of transparent enamels can then be applied over the silver foil as desired.

Goldleaf Glue 75ml (Gold Size).
Adhesive for use with Gold Leaf. Gold size is white spirit based, making it easier to thin down to help correct errors.
Size becomes tacky (ready to use) after 20-30 minutes, and will remain tacky for up to 3 hours.
