Spindles

Shop tapered polishing spindles, chucks and mandrels for attaching buffs, felts and other polishing accessories to jewellery bench motors.

Bench motors have left- and right-hand sides that rotate in opposite directions when viewed from their respective spindle ends. Each tapered spindle is made for a specific side, with its tapered thread oriented so the polishing attachment tightens during normal operation. Always select the spindle marked LHS for the motor’s left side or RHS for its right side; fitting one to the wrong side will cause the buff or attachment to loosen while the motor is running.
