Wax Solvents and Additives

Different Products, Different Jobs

A wax cleaner and a hardener are not interchangeable. Choose a cleaner for the application described in its listing, or a compatible hardener where the modelling wax calls for one. Check compatibility before using either on a finished model.

Try an Offcut First

Test a small offcut to see how the wax responds before treating fine detail. Follow the product’s directions for quantity and use. See sculpture waxes for modelling materials and specialist repair waxes for other ways to refine a pattern.
