Square Edge Abrasive Wheels for Jewellery Finishing
Square edge abrasive wheels are used for smoothing, refining and polishing jewellery with a flexible-shaft or rotary handpiece. Their flat outer rim provides a broad working surface for finishing flat areas and edges. Abrasive incorporated into the wheel allows controlled finishing without separate polishing compound.
Regal’s standard silicone rubber wheels contain silicon carbide abrasive and are available in 5/8" and 7/8" diameters. Choose white coarse wheels for initial smoothing, black medium wheels for refining surfaces and edges, light blue fine wheels for a smooth satin or medium-lustre finish, and pink extra fine wheels for final polishing.
The range also includes hard blue wheels, blue Miracle wheels and pumice wheels for additional finishing options. Select the wheel type and grade to suit the metal and finish required.
These unmounted wheels require a suitable mandrel for use with a flexible-shaft or rotary handpiece. Follow the maximum operating speed specified for each wheel.
